Seems as though Nokia is trying to make Symbian closer towards Android in terms of functionality. Supposedly this phone now has :

The N8 touts multiple, personalizable homescreens “which can be loaded with apps and widgets,” native multitasking, support for multitouch gestures and integration with the Qt software development environment.

Sounds like they are going towards the right direction but Eldar from the Russian based Mobile-Review claims that like my N97, the execution is raw and half assed which would cause loads of aggravation.

I hope that Nokia learns from its past and does this properly.
